To Breed or not to breed...
It's pointless to breed just to have a litter of kittens for the
children to witness a birth, because the kittens will most likely
be born in the middle of the night when the kids are asleep.
You should only breed if you have the intension to improve the breed.
There are a few thing to keep in mind when making this big decision:
- Overpopulation
- Responsibility
- Finding Homes for the kittens
- Cost involved
- Heartaches
- Keeping a stud cat
So... to breed or not to breed ?
After considering all these basic factors, you might decide to rather
enjoy your cat as an uncomplicated spayed or neutered pet instead.
On the other hand, if you are prepared to step into the breeding ring,
it might be a very rewarding experience.
